The centrepiece of the collection: The ballgown skirt made from upcycled fabrics. the waiste line made from repurposed curtain material, the liner and lace details from a reworked 1970s vintage lace wedding gown. The body of the skirt is constructed from overlapping layers of repurposed fabric scraps including repurposed pashmina scarves, satin, cotton-linen blends, and other unexpected textiles, creating a patchwork effect in soft pinks. Top made from lightweight silk slip fabric with lace detail. Matching slouchy arm cuffs made from repurposed heavyweight cotton fleece. A one-of-a-kind masterpiece and a true celebration of sustainability and craftsmanship.
